Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal is a quick and efficient way to rid your body of hair. No more razors, tweezers, waxing, or any other painful method of hair removal! You can now be hair free in no time at all.
Mapleshade Spa uses the Candela GentleLase machine which has been rated #1 among other laser hair removal machines. Candela GentleLase is superior in terms of speed, efficiency, as well as comfort. It utilizes a patented DCD Cooling System for your comfort during this procedure.
Although laser hair removal treatments can vary, a series of 6 typically result in permanent hair reduction. Treatments are recommended monthly or bi monthly to get hair while it's in it's growth cycle. Results can usually be seen after your first session and will continue to diminish as time goes on.
There are a few things to do before your treatment to ensure a smooth and comfortable session.
*Avoid plucking, electrolysis, or hair waxing for 6 weeks prior to your treatment.
*Any hair should be completely removed by shaving
*Avoid tanning in a bed and self tanning products 14 days prior to treatment

The IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology is a treatment breakthrough that can help to correct a variety of skin conditions. The conditions consist of, but are not limited to, photo-aging, birthmarks, unsightly veins, broken capillaries, and other effects of sun damage.
IPL is the number one treatment we recommend for anti-aging. It is a broad intense light spectrum to zap dark, uneven pigment on the face. It improves the appearance of photo-aged skin, redness, and the redness associated with broken capillaries. There is no prolonged recovery time, and the treatment only takes approximately 30 minutes. IPL can be used on the face, chest, legs, and arms. It is also great for boosting collagen and elastin.
Cost per treatment is $250.00 to $350.00 per area. In most cases, you will need six treatments for best results; however, each individual is different and will need to speak with us for more information regarding number of treatments. Treatments are performed every 4 weeks.
